PNI’s modules keep high-performance robots and unmanned vehicles on track in extreme environments, even when GPS is compromised or denied

Whether underwater or underground, beneath a bridge or inside a building — PNI’s  modules use the Earth’s magnetic field  to navigate and determine orientation, enabling heading accuracy for robotic navigation, dead reckoning, and targeting.

Used in both the Talon and the PackBot for bomb disposal, surveillance, and hazardous material clearance, Precision Navigation modules are the proven solution for high-performance robots. These modules provide high-resolution compass heading in any orientation, as well as accurate pitch and roll, temperature, and raw magnetometer and accelerometer sensor readings.  The outputs from Precision Navigation modules allow robots to collect precise data and navigate in environments where human beings can’t go.
